Donald brings a wealth of experience in the finance industry, from his 37 years working for a major trading bank. This includes 25 years as a Business Manager, working alongside small to medium sized businesses.

During this time, Donald has worked with well over 500 different business customers in a wide variety of industries and trades. This extensive experience has provided a thorough understanding of just how demanding, stressful and often lonely the life of a business owner can be.

Donald grew up on a dairy farm in the Otago area, played competitive sport for 20 years, coached and managed team sports for 10 years, and planned and managed the construction of three houses.

Donald, with his wife Kaye and their now two adult daughters, have lived in Timaru, Christchurch, Cromwell before returning to home town Dunedin, 17 years ago.

Donald had been considering a career change, but wished to remain involved working with businesses in an area that he is very passionate about, ‘helping business owners achieve their goals and dreams’.
