Stephen has been trained extensively in people management and leadership both privately and through corporate training programs. This started in his early 20s with a sponsorship to attend the Outward Bound New Zealand Leadership course at Anakiwa, followed by significant corporate management training with the Bank of America and Citicorp.
During his early career, Stephen specialised in the management of information technology professionals, before returning to New Zealand where he changed his career to I.T. sales and marketing. He then ran his own business services company for a number of years, so he has the hands on experience of small business ownership.
Stephen’s specific skills include Sales, Marketing, Leadership, People Management, Organisational Structure, Process Improvement, Change Management, Operational Efficiency, and Business Planning and Strategy.
Thirty years of this experience allows Stephen to bring together the best of both worlds for his clients, incorporating the speed and flexibility of SME businesses with the structure and best practice of corporate business.
