David joined Prime Strategies Group having spent almost thirty years owning, managing or consulting in businesses throughout New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia. He is an award-winning CEO, International Marketing Manager, MBA Director, Business Lecturer and Consultant. He also owns a small business with his wife, Catherine.

David has experienced the challenges and successes of running businesses through periods of recession and massive growth. He offers Canterbury businesses a unique combination of the systems and structure that comes with corporate leadership but also the understanding of what business owners face on a day-to-day basis. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of business including:

David has an MBA and education qualifications from the University of Canterbury. He is a professional Company Director, and currently, he is a Board Member of Workbridge, Kidney Health New Zealand and Diabetes New Zealand.

A passionate Cantabrian, David enjoys strong business relationships throughout the region. He loves his sport and while he is a lazy runner, occasional mountain biker and tennis player he likes nothing better than to support his teenage family in their sports. When he’s not on the family farm in Wainui or diving for Pāua, he is finding an excuse to travel.

David’s approaches work with a positive can-do attitude, cheeky smile and passion for creating successful businesses that allow a balanced lifestyle to spend more time doing the important things in life.
